Lawrence Moy Hing is an award-winning professional photographer based in Trinidad & Tobago with over sixteen years of professional experience. He is passionate about revealing the beauty of people and their expressions of emotion and culture.

From 2007, Lawrence was noted for his portrait and wedding photography and won his first National Award in the portrait category of the Association of Media Photographers of Trinidad & Tobago (AMPOTT) photo contest.

Lawrence has been trained by WPPI and PPA international Double Grandmaster Jerry Ghionis; WPPI and PPA Master of Photographic Excellence, Tony Corbell, and Internationally renowned Commercial and Corporate photographer and educator, Don Giannatti. This has provided Lawrence with the photographic skills to perform on a world stage.

From 2009-2011, Lawrence opened a studio in Belmont with a business partner called Nexus Studios and proceeded to use it as a platform to educate other photographers in the Caribbean who came from other countries to learn. Lawrence brought world-renowned international photographers to Trinidad such as Tony Corbell and Doug Gordon, as well as had local-renowned photographers such as Desmond Clarke, Butch Lim Choy, James Solomon, and others to speak to the local photographers as he believed in education, and in elevating photography as a craft within Trinidad & Tobago. After moving to Central Trinidad, he opened his own studio called Lawrence Moy Hing Photography Limited and continues to engage in educating the new up-and-coming photographers via several mediums.

Lawrence has pleased his clients by capturing their most joyous, intimate, and powerful moments at weddings, portraiture, corporate photography, and events that span a myriad of cultures. Bringing together qualities that make him exceptional as a visual artist; he also utilises analytic and systematic approaches to allow him to bring out the best in his clients who enjoy true customer satisfaction. With a flair for making things look like they occurred organically, Lawrence is an intuitively passionate creative who blends contemporary with traditional photography, to create images that his clients will cherish.
